When joy seems far away

Keep waiting for your God, even when he tarries long. Keep clinging to his promises, even when it feels like he’s abandoned them. Keep crying out to him, even when you’re unsure he hears. Keep seeking his face, even when you want to least. Refuse the temptation, when you find yourself tired of waiting, to “go astray after a lie” (Psalm 40:4) — some refuge other than God that promises immediate relief. Wait, cling, pray, seek, and trust that your God will come.

I am so glad that what I am feeling these days are somewhat normal, strangely unique and annoying irritation. More importantly, it test and checks mk foundation and roots. It tugs hard at my heart and soul. It makes me feel so hopeless, so dull and everything seems to bleak.
But I know, for this I am sure, that one day, my little flicker of hope will burst into a full flame.

The one thing that really holds Logicians back is their restless and pervasive fear of failure. Logician personalities are so prone to reassessing their own thoughts and theories, worrying that they’ve missed some critical piece of the puzzle, that they can stagnate, lost in an intangible world where their thoughts are never truly applied. Overcoming this self-doubt stands as the greatest challenge Logicians are likely to face, but the intellectual gifts – big and small – bestowed on the world when they do makes it worth the fight.

"The gospel gives us hope that all sin, even nagging sins, can be both forgiven and subdued. But because sin has such persistence and power, we must be vigilant in our struggle against it. As John Owen puts it, “If sin be subtle, watchful, strong, and always at work in the business of killing our souls, and we be slothful, negligent, foolish . . . can we expect a comfortable event?”

Feeling very disappointed at myself and wondering how I became a leader of two ministries with me, being myself. I don't want to take the grace and mercy of God cheaply. I want to repent, resolve and remember. But some times, my resolve fails.
