The thing about social media and instant texting- it makes you feel 'close' or 'connected' to people. Sometimes, this connection becomes an addiction, a useless addiction that chews on my inside. 

The first world problems that I face, the inability to go without my phone. The grab of my iPhone, the fiddling with apps, the constant awareness of other people's lives or even the mindless updates and show off of my own life is really sickening :((( I wanna cry. Because clearly, very clearly God does not want us to live like that. 

My heart is so tuned to earthly temporal satisfaction.
