My response to my lovely holidays.
Thank you God for this break (:
1. Bought a princessy balloon for fadlun and kinda surprised her.
2. Shopped a lot :( Too much till I got 3 free discounted cards. HAHA
3. Toured the entire of botanic gardens and had lunch at food for thought with gloria, joel sng, joel loke, ernest and tabitha.
Thank you Lord for a group of wonderful christian friends in school because it really makes a difference in my life when I really do think about it. We did reflections or maybe more like, updates. Nonetheless it was good to know what was going on in their lives.
4. Went for su camp (: It is by far, the best thing that happened this year.
It's always the same thing since I always always miss the camp and especially the kids. I can feel this swift and steady increase of love for the children in my group as we spent time together laughing and sharing about our sleep, the games and the Word. They are the most loveliest children who allows me to scold them and play with them after that. God is really good in so many ways. He opened my eyes to make me realise the children who are in need of an encouragement or just some love. God pointed out my weakness in my thoughts and the distractions in my life. I am also happy to have gotten to known some new friends who really love children and have also learnt a lot from the camp (:
5. Headed to Batam for short getaway and came back with mixed emotions and a lot of thinking.
But I have to believe that God is in control of everything.
6. Had tea/soup with a good friend (:
While walking home, I told God that I am really happy that all my friends are moving on and progressing in their lives and its really wonderful.
But what about me?
I kinda got a reply which is quite interesting
You are also moving on and progressing, girl. It's just in a different way.
And that short statement made my day.
Because yes, I have seen myself being stretched in many horrendous ways that I would never wish happen again, it seems that I am stronger physically, emotionally and even spiritually.
