Am currently preparing lesson for tomorrow and it's on David and Goliath.
Super well known children's lesson and one of my favorite stories also (:
Decided to incorporate ICT in my sunday school teaching tar y'all. Allowing the boys to watch the cartoon on David and Goliath on my mac! HAHAH
Something amazing about this story is the utter confidence that David had in God. No form of doubt in his mind that God will let him down and thus, the possibility of be crushed by the giant.
Simply, do we trust that God is greater than our biggest problem?
I feel that trusting in God should not be twisted in its meaning such as not doing anything and leaving everything to the last minute. But it's about the heart attitude of not being worried or anxious. The heart plus the action! David went and look for five stones and so on.
Yesterday during my long and tiring als class, felt very unsettled and distracted by many things. The night before, am reminded about my focus and fixing my eyes on Jesus. So had to put in the extra effort of concentration to take notes and listen to my teacher, which I felt was worth in the end (:
